Message from GASH As part of the greater academic
community and History Department at McGill, the Graduate Association of
Students in History (GASH) continues to promote and coordinate social and
academic links between history graduate students and faculty members. Among the activities on its annual
agenda are the monthly meetings, workshops on the job market, publication,
comprehensive exams, and teaching assistantship, the Professional Development
seminars, the Beer and Brains series, reading get-togethers, and
representations at Arts Graduate Council, Post Graduate Students Society and
